Hilarious Nail Polish Names You Need To Hear

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share a fun post all about nail polish! I was recently inspired by a similar post I found online, and I thought I could share the crazy polish names from my collection. I’ll have to admit, names play a BIG part in my decision making process when polish shopping. If the shade has a super cute name, I can’t help but take it home with me, haha! Below are some of my favorite funny and odd shade names in my personal stash. Let’s get started!

My Chihuahua Bites – This red/orange shade is as feisty as it’s name! This is a bold red polish with a super fitting bold (and hilarious) name!

Bikini So Teeny – This blue shade screams summertime just like it’s name! This blue polish has micro glitter flecks that remind me of the sun sparkling off the water!

Kiss Me On My Tulips – This shade name is as cute as it’s name! If you’re looking for a classic pink shade, opt for this tulip inspired pink polish for your manicure!

Lincoln Park After Dark –How. Cute. Is. This. Name? This deep, dark purple is perfectly named after a park scene at midnight. Love it!

If in Doubt, Surf It Out – This light orange shade is perfect for the warmer weather and the name is the cherry on top!

I Need A Refresh-Mint –One of my oldies but goodies! This mint blue shade is cool and refreshing just like it’s name!

Turquoise and Caicos – This cool green polish is as beautiful as the waters of Turks and Caicos! One look at this polish on your manicure, and you’ll understand it’s tropical name!

Coral/Orange Nail Polishes You Must Have!

Hi loves!

Today in the color series, we are talking all about orange and coral polish! I personally don’t wear many oranges, but I do love a good coral shade. Here are my top picks just for you guys. Let’s get into it!

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

You guys know this is my all time favorite coral polish! It is a neon shade that pops off the nails without needing a white base coat. I don’t ever wear orange polish on myself, so this is as close as it gets for me. I suggest you guys research swatches to see how beautiful it is on the nails!

Sally Hansen Coral Reef

This is another gorgeous coral polish that is super affordable. This Xtreme wear line is by far my favorite from the drugstore. This polish has been reformulated and I definitely prefer the original color. However, it is still perfect for any coral polish lover out there. It is very pigmented and can be opaque in only one coat.

China Glaze If In Doubt, Surf It Out

As I said earlier, I don’t ever wear a true “rainbow” orange on my nails. I do however, own this shade from China Glaze that is a dusty light orange polish. It is opaque in two coats and the formula is super creamy!

Pink Nail Polishes You Must Have!

Hello again beauties!

Today we are talking about my top pink polish choices that you NEED in your life! Pink is probably the most widely worn when it comes to polish, so I hope these suggestions help some of you find new favorites. I have a ton to choose from so let’s get into it!

OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips

This is the classic medium pink shade that so many of my clients reach for. You can’t go wrong with this polish on your nails and toes all throughout the year. The formula is amazing and it has great staying power!

Orly Beach Cruiser

I’ve talked about this polish many times over the Summer and I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of it. Its the best quality neon polish I have EVER tried! Definitely pick this guy up if you want a bright pop of color and an awesome formula!

China Glaze Dance Baby

This shade is such a unique pink that I had to include it in my top picks. The color is what I call a baby pink and it is blue toned as well. The formula is a little on the thick side and it’s extremely pigmented, so you can get away with only one coat!

Essie Muchi Muchi

This was the first Essie polish I had ever purchased! It’s the perfect “nude” pastel pink shade that looks great on many skin tones. This is my pick for when I want a more elegant and classy polished look!

Revlon Pink Lingerie

This is the perfect light pink for the girl who doesn’t want to wait for her polish to dry…who really has time for that anyway?? Haha! This is a quick dry polish from Revlon and the formula is super creamy. You will love the way this polish applies and how quickly it dries!

Orly Passion Fruit

This is a beautiful cherry red pink polish that just so happens to be the first Orly polish I ever purchased! I love finding that my first picks ever from brands turn out to be my all time favorite shades. This one is a super wearable shade and can look more pink or more red depending on your skin tone!

Top China Glaze Polishes for Summer

I have been in the process of moving all this week, so I’ve had a chance to go through my entire nail polish collection. I was inspired to put together this post all about my favorite polishes from China Glaze! This is easily in my top three polish brands, so I wanted to share some that I know you all will love to own. Lets get started!

1. Too Yacht To Handle

A gorgeous minty blue that seems to be one of China Glaze’s best sellers. It’s very close to being a classic Tiffany blue shade!

2. I Sea The Point

This is a deep electric blue that reminds me of Essie’s Butler Please, which is GORGEOUS! I like to call it a dark neon shade…if that makes sense, haha!

3. Kiwi Cool-Ada

This neon lime green polish is one of my personal favorites for the summertime. Your next manicure will definitely stand out with this shade!

4. Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini

One of the most wearable yellow polishes I’ve seen. It is a tad cool toned which makes it look great on many skin tones!

5. Are You Jelly?

You know I had to include a purple in my top picks! This is a deep medium toned purple that is a jelly formula. So gorgeous on the nails and toes!

6. Flip Flop Fantasy

You know the drill with this shade. A stunning coral and pink toned neon polish that is a fan favorite during the summer months!

My Favorite Gel Polishes

Hello again beauties!

Today I wanted to let you in on some of my favorite gel polish brands out there! I have tried so many and they all act differently in some ways. Here are my top picks!

CND Shellac

This brand is my top pick when it comes to professional products. This can only be found in salons and supply stores for pros only. It is definitely on the more expensive side of gel polish, but its totally worth it. My favorite aspect is the fact that there is little “run off” on the nail plate. Many gels have to be only applied to two or three nails at a time and then hardened so they don’t run off the nails. In my experience, Shellac little to never runs. Another aspect I love is the color selection. This brand has a wide range of shades to choose from which include neutrals to bright polish. Above all, my favorites in this collection are their pastels!

Gelaze by China Glaze

This brand is my top pick for a gel polish that anyone can get their hands on. This can be found online and in Sally Beauty Supply stores. One of the best things about Gelaze is the polishes themselves have the base coat “built in”. This means you only need the polish and the topcoat and you’re good to go! This brand has some of my FAVORITE bright polish colors of any brand period. China Glaze is notorious for having beautiful neon polishes and their gel polish is no different. You should definitely try this brand if you have the chance!

Today I wanted to share a quick nails of the day! I am absolutely in love with purple in every shade and it’s my favorite color to wear on my nails!

I used all China Glaze polishes for this manicure:

Marry a Millionaire (glitter)
