Must Have Nail Supplies On Amazon!

Hi loves!

I get asked pretty frequently about my go to nail supplies that I use for myself and my clients. I personally order most of my supplies online from a nail supply store and Amazon! So, today I wanted to share some of my favorite supplies that you can all get from Amazon (one of my favorite places to shop online). On top of the great prices you can find on there, I also use Ebates every time I order something online. It’s a simple extension you add to your browser and you get paid cash back percentages every time you shop! Amazon is typically always on Ebates which means you can always get cash back when you order! Here is my referral link if you want to check it out: https://www.ebates.com/r/POLISH583. Now on to the products!

Dotting tools

I picked up these dotting tools years ago at the beginning of my nail career. I still use them all today and they have held up perfectly! They are super affordable and each end is a different size, which is great for different nail art designs. I would highly suggest them!

Rhinestones

If you’re looking for a basic pack of rhinestones, then these are for you. They aren’t as grand as Swarovski crystals, but they are bright and shiny nonetheless! Each of these rhinestones are the same size and color. I love them for adding some bling to any manicure!

Buffing Blocks

If you’re looking for disposable buffers for yourself or clients, these are a good option. I like to cut mine in half, which makes your money go even further. They are one time use buffing blocks and they work perfectly!

Striping Tape

Striping tape isn’t something I use very often in my salon, but they are a great option for nail art. You can use these multi-colored tapes as stencils for different designs, or you can leave them on the nail for a fun look!

Cuticle Sticks

I am a huge fan of using wooden cuticle pushers instead of metal implements. These are perfect for one time use because they are shorter than the average cuticle stick. They have a pointed and flat end on each. I still use these every day in my salon!

Thank you all so much for reading! I hope this post was helpful for you. I hope your day is awesome; love and light! :)

Must Have Nail Products For Colder Weather!

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to talk about my favorite products that I reach for to care for my hands and nails in the colder months. The Fall and Winter season can be harsh on your skin and cuticles. I always have to use more products to keep my cuticles from splitting and my skin from getting too dry. I’m sure many of you experience this same issue, so I wanted to share some of my go to products to keep my manicure looking fabulous!

CND Solar Oil

I have tried so many cuticle oils in my career and this one is at the top of my list for you! This oil is salon quality, and you can find it many places online for those of you who don’t work in the beauty industry. It never fails to leave my cuticles super moisturized and looking great all day. Many other oils I’ve tried only hydrate my skin for a short time after I put it on. This solar oil keep my skin looking healthy and hydrated all day!

Julep Mighty Nail and Cuticle Serum

I have raved about this product so many times in the beginning of my blogging days, and I still stand by it today! This pen from Julep contains a moisturizing cuticle oil that you can take with you on the go. It is the worst to be out and discover your cuticles are cracked and dry. This guy has been my life saver in those moments. I can always take it with me in my purse and pop it on my nails whenever I need to. It isn’t a greasy formula, so the oil soaks into your skin really well.

Almond Hydrating Lotion

CND never fails me when it comes to manicure products. This almond oil lotion works great when I am giving manicures and pedicures on my clients. I really like the formula because it is thin enough to perform a massage, but it soaks in really well and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. It also has a great almond scent that isn’t too overbearing.

That’s it for my must have nail products in the Fall and Winter! I hope you found this post helpful and hopefully found a couple new products to try out. Have you already tried some of these? Let me know your opinions in the comments below. I hope your day is awesome; love and light! :)

Hilarious Nail Polish Names You Need To Hear

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share a fun post all about nail polish! I was recently inspired by a similar post I found online, and I thought I could share the crazy polish names from my collection. I’ll have to admit, names play a BIG part in my decision making process when polish shopping. If the shade has a super cute name, I can’t help but take it home with me, haha! Below are some of my favorite funny and odd shade names in my personal stash. Let’s get started!

My Chihuahua Bites This red/orange shade is as feisty as it’s name! This is a bold red polish with a super fitting bold (and hilarious) name!

Bikini So TeenyThis blue shade screams summertime just like it’s name! This blue polish has micro glitter flecks that remind me of the sun sparkling off the water!

Kiss Me On My Tulips This shade name is as cute as it’s name! If you’re looking for a classic pink shade, opt for this tulip inspired pink polish for your manicure!

Lincoln Park After DarkHow. Cute. Is. This. Name? This deep, dark purple is perfectly named after a park scene at midnight. Love it!

If in Doubt, Surf It Out This light orange shade is perfect for the warmer weather and the name is the cherry on top!

I Need A Refresh-Mint One of my oldies but goodies! This mint blue shade is cool and refreshing just like it’s name!

Turquoise and Caicos – This cool green polish is as beautiful as the waters of Turks and Caicos! One look at this polish on your manicure, and you’ll understand it’s tropical name!

Thank you all for reading! Do you own any of these shades yourself? What funky names are hiding in your collection? Let me know in the comments. I hope your day is awesome; love and light! :)

Spring Nail Polish Inspiration!

Hi loves and happy March!!

Spring is right around the corner (thank goodness), and I am so excited for new Spring polish shades! I wanted to share some of the hottest colors to rock with the warmer weather. These picks are from my personal collection, but any brand with these shades would be gorgeous. We’re talking drugstore and salon brands, so let’s get into it!

You’re Such A Budapest

OPI never fails when it comes to beautiful purple polish. This lilac shade is one of my all time favorites for Spring (as I’m sure you guys already know). The formula is on the thin side with a slight shimmer throughout. I achieve a completely opaque manicure with three coats!

Be More Pacific

This China Glaze shade is unlike any other polish I have in my collection. It’s a pastel green shade that is actually thicker of a formula than you would expect. A lot of pastel shades tend to not have a great formula, but this guy is an exception. This is a green that is super wearable and goes well with many different skin tones.

Mellow Yellow

This Sally Hansen polish is super affordable and easy to find in drugstores. It is the perfect bright yellow shade that can be completely opaque in one coat! This happens to be the only yellow toned polish that I like to wear, out of all the ones I’ve tried.

Sunday Funday

I have recently been rocking this coral shade on my nails and toes. It’s similar to “You’re Such a Budapest” in that it’s a thinner formula with gold shimmer. I like to use three coats, or apply it on top of a base coat to make it completely opaque. If you love oranges and corals, then you will love this shade!

Thank you all so much for stopping by! Spring polish is my favorite to rock all year long, so I’m stoked its back around again. Which shade is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you guys have an awesome day; love and light! :)

It has been so long since I’ve talked about this shimmer powder, but I am still in love! The shade is the most gorgeous bronze, golden color that I like to wear as a shadow in my holiday eye looks. The formula is crazy soft and pigmented and you only need the slightest amount to cover your lids. I like to add this to different smokey eye looks to really make my eyes pop!

Hikari Lip Gloss in Merlot

This lip gloss is extremely pigmented and lasts for hours throughout my day! These deep berry shades are my absolute favorite to wear during the holidays. I like to pair this lip shade with a natural or gold toned eye look!

I love the refreshed look this blush gives me, so I just had to share it again! This shade is a peach blush with a slight golden sheen that really wakes up your face. It is super pigmented, but the color payoff is perfect on the skin!
