Revamp Your Nail Salon | Tips and Tricks

Hi loves!

Today I wanted to share my tips for bringing new life into your salon! As you may know, I have my own nail suite and I’m always looking for ways to improve my smaller space. These tips are things that I personally do to prepare my space for Spring and Summer, keep it looking fabulous, and make it an inviting space for clients. Keep your salon dusted and vacuumed regularly. I like to vacuum every two days and dust about twice a week. This ensures that my clients always walk into a clean space and never see any debris or dust while they’re spending time in my space. Daily cleaning like this also helps you in the long run. It makes it much easier when it comes time to do your deep and thorough cleanings!

Roll all of your polish bottles periodically. I know many of us are in the habit of shaking our polish to re-mix them, but the best thing to do is roll them. This mixes the polish while preserving the quality of the formula. I like to re-mix my bottles after they have sat for a while and start to settle. I tend to do this once every week or two.

Freshen up the space with new decor or plants. For my nail suite, I went with an all white theme with black accents. This meant I have little color in my space. In order for me to bring some life into the room, I brought in some plants to add a boost of color. I have a larger live tree along one wall, and some fake succulents on another table. I really enjoy the pops of green in the room, and the overall “natural” vibe it gives to the space!

Add some limited time specials to your service menu. This can be anything from a seasonal manicure or pedicure (like cinnamon for the Fall or citrus for the Summer), or a new add on for any service. This ensures you are constantly updating and staying up with the current trends. Your clients will definitely appreciate this!
