Hi loves!
Today I’m sharing a fun video that was requested from a subscriber of mine. She had the great idea of creating a video of what you should NOT do at the nail salon or tell your nail tech. I thought this was such a cool idea, so I out together a video sharing my perspective as a nail tech. I hope you enjoy; let’s get started!
Thank you guys so much for watching! Let me know if you’d like to see a part 2 where I cover what you SHOULD tell your nail tech. I hope your day is awesome; love and light! :)

Oh my god! Using cheese grater for removing dead skin during pedicure – I’ve never thought about that. A s you’ve said, it is not a great choice

I didn’t know about the shaving part. Sadly, I just show up to the salon with unshaven legs, not caring about what anyone thinks about them.

Crazy right? Shaving causes micro-abrasions on the skin, making you more susceptible to infections during the pedicure service. Its something many people don’t even think about

I didn’t learn this until nail school! Shaving creates micro-abrasions on your legs, which makes you susceptible to infections from the pedicure water. It’s wild to think about!

Every time I see those cheese graters at nail salons I cringe. They’ve never used one on me, just a pumice stone. Because I take care of my dang feet!

Right? I try to get a pedicure once a month, but sometimes life gets busy and it’s 2 or 3 months before I can get to the nail salon. But I still take care of my feet between visits regardless by keeping them clean and hydrated.
