At Home Pedicure Tips

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share some of my tips that will help you get the most out of your home pedicure. These are tips that will make doing your own pedicure easy, and soothing at the same time. I won’t be explaining how to do a step by step pedicure routine today, so let me know if that’s something you’d like to see! I’ve also included some of my all time favorite products that I think you will really enjoy. Let’s get started!

The first stop in your home pedicure will be the cleansing and soaking process. To make this step go by more smoothly and with less steps, I would suggest using your bath tub for soaking! Many people may choose foots spas or even fill a large bowl or bucket with water, but that can get messy. Simply filling up the bath a few inches with warm water and sitting on the ledge, makes your cleansing step super simple.

You can add your favorite foot soak, body wash, or bath products to the water to get a bubble effect. My absolute favorite soak is the CND Almond Milk Bath because it is professional quality, makes your skin feel so soft, and has the most amazing scent.

This step provides the biggest difference in your skin’s health and condition. There are so many options out there for skin exfoliates and buffing tools but you don’t have to have a fancy product to get the same effect. If you have a rather rough patch you’d like to buff away but don’t have a foot paddle at home, try using your nail buffer! The block buffers that are used for nails are perfect for smoothing out dry patches on your feet and they are very gentle on the skin.

I love to end my at home pedicure with applying lotion, cream, or an oil to my feet and nails. My most favorite lotion to use on myself and clients is from the same line of soak I mentioned earlier. The CND Almond Lotion has the same great scent and rubs into your skin easily and leaves no greasy feeling after. I would suggest if you’re skipping the polish or don’t need to reapply polish this time, always put on a pair of socks after applying the lotion. This helps the lotion have more time to penetrate the dry skin on your feet and your feet will feel AMAZING!

That’s it for today’s tips; thank you guys so much for stopping by! If you have any post requests you’d like to see here on my blog, feel free to leave them in the comments below. I hope your day is amazing; love and light! :)
