Hi loves!
I just hauled this product in a drugstore makeup post and received some requests to do a full review, so I couldn’t wait! We’re talking all about formula, pigmentation, price point, and more! Let’s get into it!
As I’ve mentioned in the last post, I was pleasantly surprised by this palette! I found it for only $4 at a local drugstore and the formula is really good considering. This is “Dulce De Leche”, the lighter of the two shades they offer and it works well with my fair skin tone. Both shades in the palette are matte (which I love), and can both be built up with a few swatches.
The highlight shade is a yellow toned highlight that I love to use on my under eye area. I feel that it helps to brighten up that area and sets my concealer at the same time. The swatch you’ll see below is only one swipe, so you can see how pigmented it is! I can say that it is slightly powdery and you will get some fall out. I don’t feel that it’s that bad and the contour shade isn’t that way at all.
As for the contour shade, it is the perfect cool toned brown that even the most pale skin tone would love. The formula is very creamy, but you will have to work with it to build up some color. The swatch you’ll see below is about 4 finger swatches to achieve that shade. I actually don’t mind this because I am very fair and I don’t have to worry about my contour looking muddy or too dark. With this product being powder, I like to also add the contour shade as bronzer around the rest of my face and it works really well.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this palette if you’d checked it out! Have any of you tried the darker shade? I’m a sucker for a good drugstore palette so I’d give it a thumbs up. I appreciate you guys taking the time to stop by and let me know if you have any questions that I didn’t cover here. Love and light! :)

I love wnw!! I probably won’t like this highlighter, but I’m super duper fair and that contour shade looks nice. Great review!

great review! I love how natural the colors look – especially for fair skin :) I honestly think that the most important part of bronzer / contour is the brush you use, and that you can get the same results with drugstore as with nars for example <3

I have never come across this in any of the drugstores I’ve been to, ughhh. As for needing to build the contour, maybe it’s a good item for a beauty beginner. You can’t mess it up and put too much the first time! Thanks for sharing! I’m so jealous!

That’s totally right! I am still a little timid when it comes to contour myself so it helps me, haha! I’m so glad you stopped by! :)
