Hi loves!
Today I wanted to share some of my biggest tips for anyone starting out in the blogging world. These are tips I wish I had learned a lot sooner for myself, so I hope these are helpful to some of you. Let’s get into it!
-Pictures Speak A Thousand Words
Pictures are a major part of your blog posts’ success these days. By uploading quality photos to your post, you are creating a more rich and enjoyable experience for your reader. Just think about the feeling of seeing a long blog post with many paragraphs of text, as opposed to a long post with bright and attractive photos sprinkled in. Make sure you’re using bright, clear images with the highest resolution you can. A tip that took me a while to discover is copyright free images! I like to use Pixabay to enhance my non-nail related posts.
-Be Consistent
I blogged for months and months before actually settling on a schedule. Once I started posting three times a week Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I saw huge spikes in my stats. Posting constantly to your audience allows them to know when to expect new content from you. It also allows you to produce quality writing as you set deadlines for yourself and are able to stay more disciplined.
-Listen To Your Audience
At the beginning of my blogging career, I wrote about my experiences and things I enjoyed. Once I started gaining an audience, I had to realize that to keep your readers loyal, you must produce content they enjoy too. Listen to your readers suggestions and what they are reading elsewhere. This ensures they will continue to return and you have a better chance to connect with them.
-Set Aside A Day For Brainstorming
One mistake I made in the beginning is sitting down in front of my computer ready to blog, but nothing to write. It can be so much more difficult to come up with good ideas when you’re staring at a blank screen and have a deadline. I like to dedicate a day that isn’t a posting day to brainstorm new content. This ensures you won’t feel pressured and you will create quality content to share with your readers.
-Don’t Give Up
Whether you started your blog as a hobby or you’re looking to turn it into a career, you should never give up. In the beginning your stats may not be improving the way you’d like, but if you keep these tips in mind on your journey, you will excel!
Thank you guys so much for reading. I hope you found these tips helpful and feel free to use the social links to share with your friends and fellow bloggers. Also, make sure you’re subscribed to this blog for new posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for more. Love and light! :)

What do you mean by listen to your audience? How do you know what your readers want? Great post though !

I like to pay attention to the type of questions readers ask or their post suggestions to me. If one or two people ask about a specific topic or issue, chances are many of your other readers could benefit from knowing about the same thing. It’s great to ask for recommendations on posts and topics from time to time as well. I hope this helps! :)

This definitely HELPS!! I honestly feel that I have great content but somehow It just gets lost amongst other blog posts by other bloggers. I’m sure alot of bloggers feel that way though. I will keep at it because I know it takes time to become successful and these tips will stay fresh in mind every time I’m ready to create a new post!! Thanks for the advice!! ❤😊

I totally understand how you feel. I still feel that some of my content doesn’t get seen as much as I’d like. But I know that these simple tips would have helped me a ton when I first started out. As long as you keep creating quality content, the readers will come! Thank you so much for stopping by girly! :)
