Today we are diving into another installment of my must have color series! I wanted to include white polish in this series because it can be a difficult color to find a good formula for. I’ve seen streaky formulas, translucent formulas, and shades that gain a yellow stain over time. As a nail tech, I’ve tried many brands and I’ve finally gathered two brands that I believe are definitely worth checking out. Let’s get into it!
This white polish has been my go to shade when I’m working with French manicures. The formula is on the thicker side and is completely opaque in one coat! This is a good choice for painting French tips because you only need one swipe to get the perfect full coverage layer. The brush is slightly larger than I prefer, but you will never have to worry about streaky applications with this polish!
There are so many reason I love this polish. The first thing that really stands out is how affordable this brand is! You can find this at most drugstores, Walmart, and Target! The next best thing is the brush size. This brand has a skinnier brush which makes applying white polish onto toenails or as a french tip insanely easy. I would suggest this white polish to a beginner who is learning to free hand french. The formula is slightly thinner than the OPI polish above, but it is completely opaque in two coats. If you’ve been wanting to experiment with white polish but aren’t sure it is for you, this is the polish for you to try!
Thank you all so much for reading! It was short and sweet, but these are my holy grail choices! Feel free to leave me your top picks for white polish in the comments below. I hope you have a fabulous weekend; love and light! :)
